Poulami Choudhuri (third from left) has recently joined the Bachand lab. Poulami obtained her PhD from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research in Mohali, India, where she worked on the regulation of RNA splicing in budding yeast. It was a fun way to welcome Poulami to the Bachand lab by enjoying a good meal at the sugar shack!
